This top down cardigan is worked in one piece from the neck down with raglan sleeves. The cuffs and front bands of the sweater feature a brioche stitch. Brioche is easier to knit than you think, and I encourage you to give it a try! It’s also incredibly plush and cozy. The fabric is denser than a traditional ribbing and much wider and shorter.

However, if you’d prefer to knit the the sweater with a ribbing instead please note that the brioche stitch is wider than a traditional ribbing, so skip the decreases and work in ribbing.
