I needed to make a Christmas themed hat for my great niece, “E”. AS my tradition goes, she gets her Christmas Themed hats at Thanksgiving so she can wear them during December.

When she opened this my niece, sister to “E’s” dad, fell in love with it. So I said to myself, “Self, you better get busy and make her one for Christmas.

E’s was done in all FPDC and I put a red Heart Button on the one in front to make it Rudolph. For Lauren, I made her’s in Waistcoat/knit stitch. This REALLY cut the deer down and I had room for more rows. I didn’t giver her a RUdolph since she will be wearing hers after Christmas.

The pattern is written in all Waistcoat/knit st but it can be done in all FPDC to get bigger deer.

When I got Lauren’s done I thought the deer even looked a little like the new Baby Yoda :wink:
