Lauren Mittens
Winter accessories not only keep us warm, but also contribute to the diversity of our look. Lauren Mittens with their luscious cables that you will simply love could be your distinctive accent in your outfit. They will wrap around your hands snugly and keep them warm on cold winter days.
If you’re looking for a mitten adventure, Lauren Mittens are right for you. With the ornate column of cables, you’ll end up with an engaging knit that’s the perfect opportunity to refine your cable knitting skills. And they are a project that ends with a real sense of accomplishment.
Lauren Mittens are classic mittens. They have a comfortable thumb gusset that perfectly fits the anatomy of the hand. It is easy to knit and contributes to wearing comfort. The mittens have a long cuff, and thus there is no gap between the mitten and your coat sleeve.
The mittens are knitted from the bottom up in the round. The cables run across the entire top of the mittens, starting at the cuff and ending at the fingertips. The cuff on the top side of the mittens combines a short ribbing with the beginning of the cable section, and on the lower side it is a normal length.
The mittens are only in one size, but if you want a different size, you can choose a thinner or thicker needles or yarn.
The pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
These mittens can be worked on both double pointed needles or long circular needles using the Magic Loop method.
