Laurentino Beanie
Twists and turns make this cabled beanie a cozy bliss to knit and to wear. This beautiful and rustic organic merino, Laurentino from laurelknits, keeps you warm and happy even in the cold winter air.
Laurentino Beanie is knitted from the brim up featuring a lovely and flowy cable pattern that is a dream to knit. The deep brim is worked in 1x1 ribbing and is folded after finishing.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 (1, 1) skein of Laurentino by Laurelknits. Approx. 195 (230, 260) yds / 180 (210, 240) m of sport to DK weight yarn. Samples shown in colorways Naturelle (white) and Dark Wonderland (pink).
Needles: US 2.5 (3 mm) and US 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) long or longer, and dpns in same size if you are not using magic loop technique for small circumference knitting.
SIZING

Finished measurements: Circumference of the body of the hat 16.5 (19, 21.5)” / 42 (48, 54) cm, unstretched. Total length of the hat, unfolded, 13” / 33 cm (all sizes).
Choose a size with approx. 4” / 10 cm of negative ease for the circumference. Samples shown in sizes 1 in pink (Dark Wonderland) and 2 in white (Naturelle), with a brim fold of 4” / 10 cm.
GAUGE
19 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in 1 x 1 ribbing, using smaller needles, unstretched, after blocking.
20 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in cable pattern, using larger needles, unstretched, after blocking.
