This pattern was designed with the visual aesthetic of a Lava Lamp Theme. Hence, the name Lava Lamps Crochet Blanket!

The main part of the blanket is made in strips with only SC stitches.

I have written the most comprehensive and detailed set of step-by-step instructions of 16 pages, so that the pattern can be easily followed.

I have included ~45 photos within the written instructions, so that the pattern can be easily visualized.

My blanket measures W35” x L30” for a baby blanket, but it can be made in any size that you wish, with the formula I have provided!

It has endless possibilities for different color-ways.
You can also use just about any yarn that you desire! To get the same flowing drape as mine, just be sure to increase the hook size by 1-2 sizes from the recommended hook size, depending on how loose/tight you crochet.
