The motif in this fun and quick-to-knit hat was inspired by the repeating geometric motif around an illuminated “I” in the Scriptores historiae Augustae. This manuscript is from 1475 in Milan, and was printed by Phillipus de Lavagna.

Yarn Requirements
In sample shown, main colour is the turquoise, and the contrast colour is white.
- Small: approximately 80 yards of main colour and 55 yards of contrast colour
- Medium: approximately 95 yards of main colour and 65 yards of contrast colour
- Large: approximately 130 yards of main colour and 90 yards of contrast colour
