LAVENDER: Facinating jumper designed to be knitted in a pretty open pattern in 2-ply wool in colors of blue, dark and light, grey and white. The square yoke effect made by the way in which the colors are used it very unusual.
IN GREY, BLUE and WHITE Fascinating style in knitted jumpers and simple to make. THIS sweet little jumper is ever so flattering to wear and yet quite easy to knit in a simple open stitch. Although designed to be made in grey, two shades of blue and white, other color combinations should be equally effective.
Materials Required:
3oz. 2-ply fingering wool. Dark blue.
2oz. 2-ply fingering wool. Pale blue.
2oz. 2-ply fingering wool. Grey.
1oz. 2-ply fingering wool. White.
1 pr. needles No. 9, 1 set (4), No. 11 needles. [Old UK]
Measurements:
Length from top of shoulder, 20 inches; bust, 34 inches; length of sleeve seam, 6 inches.
Tension:
7 sts. to 1 inch, 8 rows to 1 inch.
