This recipe is for the lavender flower. The stem is a simple 3-stitch icord (with a pipe cleaner inside) and the ribbon is a crocheted chain…and I won’t bore you with details about the stem and ribbon here.

The lavender flower is a quick and easy recipe to make with just a little yarn and a little time. There is a “special stitch” to use repeatedly. I came up with it as I was developing this recipe. I don’t know if there is already a name for it, but for this recipe, we’ll call it “RSP” (Roberta’s Special stitch). Let me know if you’re aware of an established name for it. You can make the flower as long or short as you like. The lavender flowers shown are between eight and eleven rows. Like I said - a quick, little project.

I hope this little flower brings you joy!
