Lavender Frosting
An openwork dishcloth, knitted in the round, from the outside in.
Put two of my dishcloth patterns into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.
The pattern comes with charts as well as row by row written instructions, and directions on how to resize it into a larger item, e.g. baby blanket. An online version of the chart and its row by row instructions, with a progress tracker by Stitch Fiddle, is also included.
Lavender Frosting is a fairly simple dishcloth with a decorative end result and an interesting enough construction to keep it from being a boring project. It knits up quickly, and makes a great gift.
With its ridges it’s good for a dishcloth or a spa cloth, and it can be resized for a larger project, a cushion cover, baby blanket etc.

“- A very pretty cloth, almost too pretty to be used as a cleaning cloth so would use as face cloth or a small doily. Enjoyed knitting this as was my first go at knitting a cloth in the round.”
“- Clearly written. Abbreviations very clear and well described. Knitting the outside in was a welcome change.”
“- I loved this one. Challenging but still quick and simple.”
