This is a written pattern with photographs, a colour block graph and a symbol graph.

This shawl is worked flat and in rows. The edging is worked last around the entire shawl.
• In addition to the written instructions, the pattern comes with 2 different style graphs showing the scarf. The colour block graph shown is the same as a filet crochet graph. Each block denotes 3 stitches. The exception to this is the increases. The graph has a key to show which colours are used for which stitch. Both US & UK terminology are given in the graph key. One full repeat is shown within the graph. This is a ten row repeat of rows 3 – 12. For those who prefer a symbol style graph this is also included. This has a key for both US and UK Terminology
A symbol graph is used for the edging. This graph shows a section of the edging for the bottom/ top edges and the sides. Both US & UK terminology are given in the graph key.

Please note I do not offer video tutorials.

I recommend working a gauge swatch using double crochet (US). I have firm tension with shorter stitches. If your stitches sit taller you may need to work less repeats of the pattern.
