Lavender Sachet
This project features a scroll pattern design that resembles a lavender field blowing in the wind. Shaping techniques using increases and decreases form eyelet curves and a garter stitch border frames the scroll pattern. The front and back are joined with slip-stitch crochet. A small project like this is a quick way to add new skills to your knitting repertoire. Filled with lavender seeds, this sachet is not only a soothing gift but also a good stash buster. Dimension: approximately 5.5” x 4.25”. Color suggestion: a solid, tonal, or tweed will highlight the eyelet pattern. A fabric pouch containing lavender seeds should be inserted as a liner. Tip-place lavender in your bags/boxes of stash to deter moths.
