Lavender Suds
by Janet Clare
Crocheted in soft cotton Lavender Suds is a lovely facecloth perfect to pair with your favourite hand-milled soap for a quick gift. The same pattern can be used to create a dishcloth – just use coarser cotton or scrubby yarn.
Yarn: Patons Cotton On 8 ply, DK, 100% cotton, 117 yards (107 m)/ 50 g.
The sample used 30 g, 70 yards (64 m).
Hook: US G/6, 4mm.
Gauge: 16 stitches X 12 rows = 4 X 4 inches.
The gauge is not crucial for this project.
The cloth can be made with any yarn and an appropriately sized hook.
Finished Size:
The sample is 9 inches long and 7 inches wide (23 by 18 cm).
Acknowledgements: My heartfelt thanks to my testers and reviewers: Ruth and Sally.
