You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, slip stitch. This top is made with Slip Stitches worked through front loop.

This pattern is written in English, standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process.

Pattern includes instructions for 6 different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.

Materials
Yarn weight is worsted / DK/light.
Color 1, (sides)> 140(150,190,200,240,250) meters / 154(164,208,218,262,274) yds.
Color 2 (center front)> 124(132,150,160,178,188) meters / 136(144,164,174,194,206) yds.
Color 3 (center back)> 130(138,156,164,182,190) meters / 142(150,170,180,200,208) yds.

Can be made also with only one color. Just ignore the instruction for color changes in the pattern and add up all 3 colors.

The tops in the pictures are made with Erika Knight Studio Linen DK (purple/grey/blue top), Katia Silk-Viscose Worsted (light grey top), Katia Cotton Fair (beige/orange/brown top, fine weight, so double check the gauge time to time if using this yarn).
Other yarn suggestions> Lily Sugar ‘n Cream, Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, Patons 100% Cotton 4 Ply, Rico Essentials Cotton DK, Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton DK, Paintbox Yarns Recycled Cotton Worsted, Yarn and Colors Must-Have (4-ply), Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 Ply 100% Merino.

Crochet hook: 6mm / 10 / J or whatever to obtain the gauge.
Needle to sew the seam.
Stitch markers.
