This versatile, 3 textured, reversible loop cowl is knit on circular needles from the top down and ends with an excellent stretchy bind off. To preserve the textures, it’s best without blocking. No sewing or grafting.

A smooth, solid or long color-changing yarn is recommended in order to better show the textured pattern design.

Easily made larger or smaller by adding or subtracting Multiples of 4 stitches, by using larger or smaller needles, or using different weight yarns. Worsted yarn for Autumn and Winter, or for a lighter version use Sport yarn for Spring and Summer.

Each section easy to customize by adding more or less rows of pattern to your liking.

It looks good any way you wear it, you can even wrap it into a hood and cowl or cape. Can also be worn as a larger cape, if you cast on at least 160 stitches and add pattern repeat rows in the Sections you like. You will have to adjust the amount of yarn needed accordingly.

In this helpful video, it shows how to do the stretchy purl part of the bind off I used. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abBhe-JYmgI

Enjoy!
