This shawl was originally called Blackberry, due to the stitch pattern of the body. However, when my photographer and I went to work, we discovered the black wool absolutely COVERED in grey and white fur – my cat had been using it as his own personal bed when I wasn’t looking. As we picked out the fur using sticky tape, she muttered wryly “Lazarus strikes again!”. Thus the Lazarus Strikes! shawl was born.

In true contrary fashion, Lazarus also refused to be photographed sitting on his new favourite bed. Typical cat.
