Pattern in US crochet terminology, there is an abbreviations guide included in the pattern.

This pattern will fit Adult and teens, however the size can be easily adjusted to fit anyone. Just decrease rows in the brim and adjust the stitches around in the body.

I used a bulky (7wpi) yarn but you can use any size yarn just stick close to the gauge for the brim.
