Lazy Lacy Socks
Lazy Lacy? Because the lace section is so simple you can memorize and relax while speedily knitting to the top. Yes, it is a toe up sock and with a really cool “afterthought” heel. The afterthought heel shows off your yarn pattern AND you can add attitude with a spot of color here. To the toes too! Cuff. Why not?
Designed with the beginner sock knitter in mind, but a fast and fun pair of socks for the more advanced.
Three typical female adult sizes, but easily made larger by increasing stitches to your tube.
Easy increases and decreases. Lots of links to tutorials. If you are deathly afraid of the Kitchener close on the heel….do NOT be afraid. An excellent and new video link to make this easy for you….AND it is only 12 stitches, so a good thing to practice on a small scale.
Any sock yarn will work. Or if you prefer a slightly heavier sock, use sport weight. Same needles will produce a slightly denser fabric.
