Lazy Vee Shawl
This colourful shawl is worked from the top down in single stripes of one plain and one variegated yarn. There is no need to cut the yarn after each row as two rows are worked in one direction before turning the work.
The stitch used is v stitch which gives a nice ric-rac effect. My finished shawl used 160g of the plain yarn and 140g of the variegated. Both yarns are DK weight but the pattern could also be used with other weights of yarn; just work until it’s big enough. The shawl is finished with a simple three round edging in the plain colour and measures roughly 152 cm wide and 76 cm deep (60 x 30”).
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff.
