Lazy Winter
The PDF document includes both stitch pattern chart and written instrucions.
“Lazy Winter” is an easy made headband. It only takes an hour or less to finish it which makes it a great last minute hand-made gift. Thanks to the the buttony part, the band can be shortened any time if needed while three buttons create a nice decorative effect. After all, you can always hide them under the hair.
The number of stitches for the gauge applies to stockinette stitch (in this case, used only for the braid panel) while the gauge in ribbing and lacy panels will vary.
Finished measures of the headband are: 7,5 cm (3 inches) in width and 53 cm (22 inches) in length.
The yardage equals to approximately 1/2 of a 50g skein of yarn. It requires only two needles (of any type: DPNs, regular-straight or circular).
My suggestion is to choose bright or beige tones for blond hair and dark shades of any colour for dark hair to avoid the “granny look” effect! :)
Additional material:
-3 buttons 2cm (0,8 inches) in diametar
-a tapesty or regular sewing needle
-depending of the cast on and bind off methos you use, you might need a crochet hook of the same size as the needles
