This is a newborn sized basic stockinette hat. It is knit using Red Heart to make it suitable for charity work - but any worsted weight will do! One skein of Red Heart will make several hats.

There is an expanded version of this pattern called LCD Basic Hat which includes the newborn size and goes up to an adult large size. The expanded pattern is now free.
