My reversible ldfc ski headbands are wider and contain a soft Velvet yarn. They are constructed to fit snug (not tight). The stitch style used is sometimes called lfc, interlocking filet, inter-meshing crochet, or interdimensional crochet. This style of crochet gives you two layers of yarn interlocked together for additional warmth.

Note: In this Pattern the arrows are there to alert you to which two rows form your “pattern” row. They are not directional arrows. You DO NOT turn your work and work from the back, you are always looking at the front of the pattern.
