Le Bandana: Mangetsu
This is the Mangetsu version of my knitted bandana shape. Mangetsu means full moon in Japanese. This design began during my travels in Japan in fall 2023. I think of it as a souvenir of that trip, a kind of travel diary written in stitches. You can, of course, make the exact same bandana. I invite you to consider ways to make this design your own. Move the shapes, change the colors, or incorporate something from your own travels.

Please read through the entire pattern before beginning.
This is a triangular bandana that is constructed by casting on at an end point and working increases on one side to the center point. Once you have reached the intended depth, you will begin to decrease on the same side to achieve the triangular shape of the bandana.
