In this hat you are going to work two strands of mohair held together; don’t worry because it’s not that bad, but if at this point in your knitting life you don’t feel ready, you can replace the two mohair strands with a single one of any hairless yarn in a sport-dk weight.
We will start the hat as if it were a sock, at the tip-toe using a double cast on to work stitches on both sides. We will work FLAT only half of the stitches until we get a rectangle from which to pick up stitches to continue working in THE ROUND. In the list of videos you will find the video with the step by step of the beginning, from the assembly until we start working in the round.
Then we will make increases without altering the constant pattern of the 1x1 rib. Once the necessary number of stitches has been reached, we will work 1x1 elastic until we reach the indicated length, we will mark the fold with a special round and we will work again in 1x1 elastic the desired hem length.
The bind off that I propose is the tubular one but if this bind off method sounds tedious you can use your favorite elastic bind off.

En este gorrito vas a trabajar mohair a doble hebra; no te preocupes porque no es para tanto pero si en este punto de tu vida tejeril no te sientes preparada puedes sustituir las dos hebras de mohair por una sola de cualquier hilatura sin pelito en un grosor sport-dk.
Empezaremos el gorrito como si de un calcetín se tratase, por la punta y con un montaje doble para trabajar puntos hacia los dos lados. Trabajaremos solo la mitad de los puntos por Filas hasta conseguir un rectángulo desde el cual levantar puntos para continuar trabajando, ahora sí, ya en circular. En la lista de videos vas a encontrar el video con el paso a paso del inicio, desde el montaje hasta que empezamos a trabajar en circular.
Después iremos haciendo aumentos sin alterar el dibujo constante del elástico 1x1. Una vez alcanzado el número de puntos necesarios, trabajaremos elástico 1x1 hasta llegar al largo indicado, marcaremos el doblez con una vuelta especial y volveremos a trabajar en elástico 1x1 la longitud de dobladillo deseada.
El cierre de puntos que te propongo es el cierre tubular pero si este cierre te resulta tedioso puedes cerrar puntos con tu cierre elástico preferido.
