The Le Faon jacket is an easy and fun introduction to Tunisian crochet garments and shaping. This pattern also includes video tutorials (for both right AND left handed crocheters!) to help you with certain techniques. Available in sizes from newborn to 6 years, you will have all your little ones covered!
The pattern also includes helpful information on simple striping, without millions of yarn ends to weave in!

This is a TUNISIAN crochet pattern, and does require a Tunisian/Afghan hook with a flexible cable as the jacket is made from the top down in one piece.

Materials:
4.5mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 40-60cm cable
8 ply or DK weight yarn (amounts listed with each size)
4 removable st markers
3 x 15mm button
Tapestry needle to weave in yarn ends

Sizes: based on chest measurement, finished jacket is a little bigger, with some positive ease. For best fit, select size according to the child’s chest measurement rather than age. Approximate yarn amounts listed beside each size:
