le gland du chêne [acorn]
as the weather becomes chilly and the leaves all lose their green i get in the mood for cozy & quick knits. i do a lot of walking and everywhere i go i hear the crunch of leaves and acorns under my feet. i feel like leaf-motifs are overdone so what better way to celebrate autumn than with a cute little overstuffed knit acorn!? it knits up fast (good for students as an easy lecture-knit) and would make a cute addition to any autumn-y gift.
to felt an acorn, try knitting it on bigger needles (maybe a size 10?) and throwing it in the wash with your next load of laundry!
additional materials needed:
tapestry needle
polyfiberfill
