Lea Sweater
Tee version for this design in sport weight yarn available here - Lea tee
Lea Sweater is a basic oversize style sweater.
It’s designed as a cropped sweater with a crew neck and slim bracelet sleeves.
Neckline, raglan lines and underarm stitches are worked in half twisted ribbing while yoke and body are worked in Stockinette stitch. Raglan lines go along the neckline, yoke and body to the hem. Lea sweater looks great in bright and neutral colors or using self-striping hand dyed yarn.
It’s a perfect basic sweater for everyday wear over your favorite dresses or with jeans and pants.
Lea sweater is worked top down seamlessly in the round with raglan increases on the yoke. Once the yoke is ready, sleeves stitches are placed on hold, raglan lines stitches are moved to the body and body continues to work in the round to the hem. Underarm stitches are worked in half twisted ribbing as well as raglan stitches. Optional - a few short rows are worked after the yoke is ready to shape a longer back for better fit. Sleeves are worked in the round after the body is ready. Both sleeves and body are finished with delicate half twisted ribbing.

Gauge
19 sts x 26 rnds = 10cm (4’’) in St st on larger needles in the rnd after blocking.
Take time to check your gauge before starting your project.
If you can’t obtain gauge in stitches and in rounds at the same time – it’s more important to obtain the stitch gauge and the gauge in rounds (length) can be adjusted according to the measurements in cm/inches.
