Leading the Way
Make a warm winter hat using stranded color work. Read charts while creating a simple pattern, and utilize a braided cast on which creates a complimentary edging. This quick and fun knit results in a lovely hand made item.
Skill Level: Advancing Beginner
Size: Small, Medium, Large
Finished Measurements: Small: 19.5” circumference, 7½“ tall; Medium: 20½” by 7¾”; Large: 21” by 8½”.
Materials: Green Mountain Spinnery Mountain Mohair Yarn (140 yards, 70% wool, 30% mohair, worsted weight), 1 skein MC & 1 skein CC
US Size 6 (4 mm) 16” circular needle
Gauge: 14 sts and 19 rows = 3” (7.6 cm)
