This pattern makes a nine inch basket that I used for large flower coasters. The top of the basket has triangles across it as decoration, which can be left off if desired. The pattern is easily changed to make the basket bigger, smaller, or deeper. The stitches used include single, double, treble, and half double crotchet, but is primarily made with double crochet. Depending on the look you want, you can flip it inside out to have the “leaves” facing out like shown in the first picture.
