Leaf Flakes is an crescent shawl, knitted from side to side. The shawl knitted out of Valley Yarns Deerfield (80% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk), which would offer you pleasant, soft, warm and cozy sensation.
Always in fashion garter stitch, makes the shawl squishy, drapes nicely over the shoulders. It is knitted in basic intarsia and short rows. Previous experience is not necessary, this pattern is great project to learn it. For the knitters who like to use the contrasting colors, this project would be a great adventure with satisfying result. To desire of the knitter, this project would be great chance to use scrap yarn and make each leaf different color.
The pattern consist out of one section which would be repeated as many times as desired. This is an adjustable shawl, it means the shawl could be smaller or bigger just making more or less repeats.
