I made these for my sister’s wedding pictures, and had many requests to make a written pattern for them - So here you go!

Lace gauntlets that cover the arm from hand to elbow, with leaf details on the elbow side.

Each gauntlet is made in three sections - lace with garter shaping, ribbing, and leaves - and then sewn together. Fits a fairly wide range of arm sizes, with notes on how to adjust if needed.

The gauge given is after blocking, and the blocking is very dramatic. The ribbed section makes the sizing fairly forgiving.

The 5mm needle is only needed for the i-cord bind off on the hand side of the lace section.

There are a lot of different techniques used - long tail cast on, tubular cast on and bind off, i-cord bind off. I did not include tutorials for those.
