I have always hated plastic and paper goody bags for kid birthday parties. They seem so wasteful. Last year, I made pouches out of material and filled them with shells, polished stones and marbles and they were a big hit, but the material was expensive. Then I saw Kara Mayfield’s leaf wristlet, and got the idea for these knit goody bags. They are about 5 1/2 inches long, not including the handle. My son won’t return the sample that I made when I developed this pattern, so I think that they are a hit! Posting in case someone else is so inclined…
