A square dishcloth, knitted in the round.
Started with a pinhole cast on and knitted from the middle toward the outer edge on DPNs, with an openwork stitch pattern.
Once the body is finished, an applied, openwork picot border is knitted around it, knitted flat, being joined as it is knitted.

Put two of my dishcloth patterns into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.

The pattern comes with charts as well as round by round written instructions. An online version of the chart and its row by row instructions, with a progress tracker by Stitch Fiddle, is also included.

A romantic dishcloth in colours invoking old fashioned, heavy scented tea roses, featuring a fancy pattern that one imagines Anne of Green Gables would have adored while Marilla would have openly deemed frivolous nonsense, secretly admiring it.
Because sometimes it feels nice to find even the simplest, most mundane objects having a little splendour.

According to testers:
“It’s a beautiful pattern. As I was working the rounds after the pattern appeared, I thought something similar with the leaf pattern would make a pretty crown of a beret.”

“It was fun, but the border drove me crazy. Looked nice when I was done.”

“Liked the design, pattern clearly written. Love the detailed notes beforehand, referred to them whenever a question came up.”

“It was quite tricky, especially the first 4-5 row. All in all, great pattern, but not for beginners.”

“Wonderful quick test knit.”
