This is a simple lace hat with a slanting leaf pattern. The pattern is adapted from a scarf pattern I found on this website:

The pattern as written will make a hat that comfortably fits a head 60 cm around (23.5 inches), which is quite a large head. To make it fit a smaller head, use smaller needles to achieve a smaller gauge or else decrease the number of repeats.

I plan to make an adaptation that will fit a baby, and when I have done so I will add that information here.
