This leaf lace baby bonnet pattern will help you to make a bonnet exactly like the pictured one! The pattern is for newborn size, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m and 12-24m - each size is marked with different color in the pattern!
You will need yarn, knitting needles, a tapestry needle or corchet hook to weave in the yarn ends, a matching sewing thread, a sewing needle and two buttons for the button strap closure.
Regarding the yarn and needle size – you really have to make a gauge swatch to find the right needle size to match the gauge! Otherwise the sizing will be way off!
You can use either long straight single pointed needles, or any circular needles.
You need to get the gauge to be 19st in 4inches (10cm).
