LEAF LINES COWL
This knitting pattern is worked in the round and features a pretty moss-stitch border, and decorated with leaves created by alternating knit and purl stitches. An ideal first “in the round” project.

Knitting Pattern Draft: Textured Cowl in aran weight yarn
Yarn: MCN Aran from TMD
Approx 166m per 100g
5mm 60cm circular needle.
The cuff is knit flat then joined in the round by knitting the last stitch of a row together with the first stitch of that row.
Gauge: 18 sts and 14 rows over pattern repeat lightly blocked (a gentle steam will do).

Stitches:
CO = cast on. We use the long-tail method here
RS = right side
WS = wrong side
K = knit
P = Purl
Sl – slip stitch as though to purl
K2tog – knit two stitches together
