Leaf Me Be
I was feeling in the fall mood when I made this and had so much fun working leaf lacework as the leaves begin to change. I cant imagine how cute this would look in other colors such as a fall orange or rustic red. This was a super fun pattern made top down stranded color work style. For my yarn weight I used worsted yarn (actually picked the yarn from this project up from goodwill, what a great find!)
For my color work and lacework patterns I try to do “knit by color” where in each chart you knit the corresponding color or stitch to get the final pattern. I have found this to be the easiest (and most fun!) way to go about knitting a pattern up.
For this you will need
US 4 circular needles (any length is fine)
US 5 circular needles
Yarn in 2 colors according to yard chart (located in pictures)
Embroidery needle for tucking in tails
I personally used long long loooong US 5 circular needles so I could try on my piece as I went.
