The Leaf Scrunchie is a scrunchie knitting pattern for a cute hair accessory perfect to tame your hair on a bad hair day or when you need to add a little decor to your outfit! It’s a lovely quick knit great for using up leftover sock or fingering weight yarn or whip up a last-minute small gift for a friend or your kid.

It’s also a great way of turning hairbands with these pesky metal pieces that damage your hair into more gentle accessories! This design was inspired by colorful leaves falling down in autumn, but it’s perfect to wear all-year-round. The scrunchie is made of two parts - a knit hairband cover and a leaf-shaped decor panel that is wrapped around the scrunchie.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
