The “Leafly” sweater is an oversized drop-shoulder sweater knitted from the bottom up in the round. After finishing the autumnal inspired leafly colorwork motif, the front and back are knitted separately in stockinette, while also adding extra stitches for the cabled detail around armhole edge. The sleeves are picked up and knitted top down.
The sweaters round neckline is shaped and the front and the back section are elongated using w&t short rows. All edges are finished using one-by-one-ribbing.

The leafly colorwork motif only requires using two colors at a time. It is sometimes necessary to catch floats.
