This Leafy Cowl is deep and fits as a collar around upper back and chest. It was first knit with some hand painted yarn (no longer available)--100 g yielded 247 yards. (Green/rose version) The second version was knit with some hand painted Paton’s Classic Wool--merino. Any worsted weight yarn about the same weight/yardage would work.

The instructions include both written and charted directions for the lace. There are links to a video tutorial for suggested cast on, and to a free pattern for rose embellishment (optional).

Pages 1 and 2 contains the complete pattern (and chart) for cowl. A color thumb nail image is included.
