This cushion cover is the latest addition to my botanical pattern series, following the popular Monstera Leaves Cushion Cover and Monstera Coaster.

Designed to complement the smaller leaf design of Version 1, this Version 2 features a larger leaf motif, adding versatility and depth to your decor options.

Like its counterpart, the larger leaf design offers an abstract-botanical, visually captivating appeal that suits a wide range of decor styles, from contemporary to traditional. Plus, the design is crafted to look flawless from any angle, ensuring that it can be displayed on any edge without distortion.

This cushion cover is made using the Mosaic Overlay crochet technique, incorporating a few special stitches. I’ve included detailed photo and video tutorials for these stitches, along with a comprehensive guide for beginners new to the Mosaic Overlay technique. This ensures that crocheters of all skill levels can successfully create this beautiful piece.

The pattern offers two distinct looks in one design.
One side features a bold botanical motif, while the reverse showcases a neutral striped pattern.

Materials:

4mm hook
Drops Muskat (Moss Green Colour 90, white Colour 18),
100% mercerized cotton.
50g(1.76oz)=100m (109yds)
OR any equivalent yarn you have.

For one Cushion Cover you will use up approx:
220g of colour A (background colour)
200g of colour B (picture colour)

Scissors
Tapestry needle
Matching zip (optional)
Sewing thread and needle to sew in the zip (optional)
Cushion insert 20”x20” (50x50cm) or 18”x18” (45x45cm)
