Leafy Lace Sweater
Textured leaf-like shapes encircle the yoke of this pretty-but-modern sweater.
There are 3 different body options for this sweater, the a-line swingy one (shown), the fitted one with waist shaping, and a traditional straight body.
Same for the sleeves - choose between fitted long sleeves (shown), straight ones with a bit of a bishop shape, or short cap sleeves.
If you prefer a custom fitted body, this pattern easily allows for it - just be careful to end your body or sleeves with the same stitch count at the top as the pattern to ensure the correct stitch count for the yoke!
The body/sleeves are written out, the yoke is written out AND charted so you can use whichever you are more comfortable with.
If you can: work in the round, knit and purl, work basic lace and cables, you can make this sweater! It looks more complex than it really is.
The same sweater is shown on the blonde model and the pregnant dark haired one. As it happens, circular yokes tend to be as kind to a large bust as a small, and a-line body shaping flatters a pear shape as well as it accommodates a six-month baby belly.
Yarn yardage needed depends which options you choose for the body/sleeves. For short sleeves and the straight or fitted body, you will need 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins. If you want long sleeves, add 2 extra skeins, and if you want the a-line body, add 1 more.
