Leagrave Shawl
The pattern for the Leagrave Shawl was inspired by the ancient ziggurats of Babylonia, and combines easy garter stitch with blocks of colour in rectangles and triangles to create one large seamless triangle.
A light garter stitch shawl in the soft and silky DK weight Malabrigo Rastita is perfect for those times where a cardigan is just too much. Or work it in a light worsted weight like Yarn Love Charlotte Bronte worsted for when you need the added warmth in the cold season.
Choose your favorite three colorways for this project, and your shawl will be a treasured friend all year long!
MATERIALS:
• Malabrigo Yarn Rastita (310 yards/283 meters, 100 grams/3.53 ounces) 3 skeins; 1 skein of each colorway: Solis 809 (MC1), Natural 63 (MC2) and Lotus 120 (MC3)
OR
• Yarn Love Charlotte Bronte Worsted (280 yards/256 meters, 115 gram/4.06 ounces) 3 skeins; 1 skein of each colorway: On Walden Pond (MC1), Bolivian Chili (MC2) and Arabian Nights (MC3)
