Story Behind the Shawl:
I was asked not so long ago if I would be interested in designing a shawl in Leah’s memory, I immediately said
YES! Leah Davidson is the original owner of one of my favorite LYS’s The Altered Stitch in Valley Village, California. Last year, Leah passed away unexpectedly and her legacy was left behind at the shop. You can still feel her presence when you walk into the shop, from the finished pieces that adorn the shop to the rainbow of colors that fill the space with happiness. You can feel her there, she is the heart of The Altered Stitch….. (the remainder of the story is on the pattern)
