This hat was knit as part of the annual Hats for Kids Project, and the stretchy fit will suit pre-teens to teens.

The pattern stitch is easy and quick. A half a skein of worsted weight yarn is all that needed.

The hat can also be knit as a slouchy by knitting additional rounds of the body of the hat.
