Leanne hat
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Leanne the hat is worked using 7 separate balls of yarn, using the Intarsia method. It is worked from end to end and grafted at the back of the head. This is a good beginner project for those new to Intarsia as the bulky yarn makes for a quick knit.
This hat can be worked using either straight or circular needles. As it is worked from end to end and grafted, the start of the hat works well as a swatch.
Skill level: Intermediate knitter, Intarsia beginner
Skills used: increases, decreases, working with 7 balls of yarn (only one is knit with at a time, the others rest.)
Provisional cast on
Kitchener stitch
