The aran weight beanie is worked in 2x2 ribbing and offers a variety of styling options as well as choices for round or square crowns, and smaller or larger sizes.

The hat is worked from written instructions.

Sizes: to fit up to most toddler, children and adult, for head circumference:
Toddler for head 44 – 47 cm / 17.3“ - 18.5“
Child for head 48 - 52 cm / 18.8“ - 20.4“

Note for gauge: 18 sts and 24 rnds in rib 2x2 light stretchly = 4“ /10 cm with needle US 7 – 4.5mm

Note for yarn: Any aran weight yarn will work. An organic soft yarn and fiber blends, these make stretchly ribbing. You can knit the beanie with two threads of fingering yarn and one thread of kid-mohair.
