This pattern is available in several different sizes:
Newborn (0-3 months)
Infant (3-9 months)
Baby (9-24 months)
Toddler (2-5 years)
Child (6-12 years)
Teen/Adult (one size fits most 13+)

You will need less than one skein each of green, yellow, and black yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver. You can substitute for any comparable weight yarn.

You will require a 5.5mm (I) hook for the hat and a 5.0mm (H) hook for the buckle as well as scissors and a yarn needle for weaving in ends.

This pattern only require you to know how to do a magic ring, single crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitch.
