Skill level: Easy.

All car seats are different in size. You will need to measure the car seat you are planning on making this tent for.
You will need to add 2 inches on each side of the car seat this will allow for extra on each side so the blanket will hang off edge. However, if you are planning on adding a board that is not the same as the one here then you might not want to add as much too each side.

The measurements you will need are:
The width of the car seat and add the 2 inches to the top and bottom and sides So the total of 4 extra inches wide and long will be added to your measurements. Make sure the handle is up and you measure over the handle. So starts at the bottom go over the handle and to the end of the back. Add 2 inches to each end so the total of 4 inches that will be added.
You will also need to get the measurement from the bottom for the seat to the top of the handle so you know where to add the straps at. The handle will need to be up on the car seat to get the right measurements for this as well.

Material:

Crochet hook H
Yarn of choice you need at least two colors to get the checker look. This one had 8 colors.
Yarn needle
Scissors
2 buttons
