This pattern is intended to be used by someone with crochet experience to teach another individual or even a small class. Great for a short workshop with no subsequent classes, this pattern gives novices a taste of crochet, a little practice with several stitches and a usable item in the end!

Stitches included: Slip Knot, Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Double Crochet and Increases.
Its construction also gives a feel for working a flat piece as well as working in the round.
