This is one of my favorite patterns to knit. Made from worsted/#4/aran yarn using circular needles to accommodate the large number of stitches, the blanket has an all over leaf pattern with contrasting garter stitch border.

It is not a cable pattern, but combines a variety of stitches to challenge the intermediate knitter. It may look complex, but it is a quick pattern to master and very satisfying to knit. The pattern is written row by row, not as a chart.

The finished size is 28”x 36” (70x90 cm).
It could easily be made larger or smaller if required.

Although not a reversible pattern, the blanket looks good on the “wrong” side too.
